I did get a run in on Friday, but not until after I dusted off the bike.
I got on the bike Friday afternoon and went out for a leisurely ride that turned into a 10-mile ride in about 45 minutes. Lots of going through neighborhoods before getting out on a county road for a few miles.
It wasn't too bad. Except for the overpass. ugh...
So, I decided 10 miles on the bike wasn't enough of a workout and decided to get in a short run when I got back.
I ran a slow 5K, which was actually faster than I thought it would be. Especially for not having any feeling in my legs until I got to about the 1 mile mark.
Ran the 5K in a little over 25 minutes.
