4.5 miles I think, but who the heck knows

Tonight's plan was for 7 miles, but I was having so much fun enjoying the nice weather that I decided to stop after two miles.
Oh wait, forgot about the incident a little more than a mile into my room.
I got passed by this kid on a skateboard. He was probably about 16-18 or so and he was going down a hill pretty fast, weaving a little on purpose. Then all of a sudden he got thrown off the board and did a couple of rolls in the middle of the street. He was probably about 20 yards ahead of me when he took his spill.
I stopped to check on him and talked for a second, making sure he was okay. He had some good road rash (or whatever it's called) and his elbow was bleeding pretty good. I grabbed his board for him and asked if he needed help getting up.
He said he'd sit there for a minute. I then noticed that his shoe was about 10 yards past where he was and also his cap was a good ways away as well. I went and got those for him. He got up and seemed to be okay.
I went on with my run.
Got to about the two-mile mark and decided to call home. Got the wife and kids to drive to where I was and we walked a little ways on a trail and out onto the golf course. Just wanted them to see where I run and how nice it is.
Wife thinks she needs to take families out there for pics.
It was nice.
Anyhoo, ran about 1/2 mile with the two kids after that and finished up with another 2-2.5 miles.
Maybe that's closer to 5. Heck if I know.

If you are correct, you outdid me by a quarter-mile today. I taught my friend how to strength train today and cut it short. Good deeds all around!
